Feel free to reach out to us on Instagram @utdgss if you have any questions!

What makes Gamma Sig different?

In GSS we give you the freedom of choice in regards to becoming a member. Our core values are Service, Friendship, and Equality. This extends into our belief in the importance of diversity and representation for everyone. We hold precious the differences that make each and every one of us unique and see strength and love in those distinctions. We are a Non-Selective organization focusing on giving back to the community and building friendships that last a lifetime.

How does rush week work?

Rush Week is a week long that consists of events. Each day will have a different event for you to come and fully experience the Sigster experience. On the final day of Rush Week, we will host a Decision Day where you can come decide if you want to join our sorority. Our top priority is to ensure that all of our sisters and PNMs are in a safe environment, but still able to bond with one another!

What is the time commitment?

We host our General Body meetings weekly that is required attendance. We have two weeks throughout the semester we expect you to be able to commit, along with any events we host throughout the months. While we aren't the biggest time commitment, you are still expectant to dedicate of your time to helping this sorority flourish.

What is the recruitment process like for GSS?

Gamma Sigma Sigma will be hosting an informal recruitment process during which PNMs can get to know more about the sisterhood and service in our chapter. They can then decide to rush at the end of Rush Week by attending our Decision Day.

how expensive are dues?

Here at Gamma Sig, we understand we are all college students so we try to make our dues as affordable as possible. Each semester we review our budget to make sure dues are staying within a reasonable price but also still paying for all the events we have to offer.

What does non-bidding mean?

Gamma Sigma Sigma is a non-bidding sorority meaning you choose us! Unlike other greek life, we do not go through a bidding process. Simply you attend our rush week and if you feel we are the right fit for you, you attend our Decision Day and join our family.
