Recruitment

Thank you for considering Gamma Sigma Sigma. The sisters of Gamma Sig want to ensure that you have the best rush experience and enjoyable opportunities to get to know more about our sororities and the women in it to ensure that you receive the full Gamma Sigma Sigma experience! If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

Thank you,

Your (hopefully) fellow GSS sisters

Our recruitment process is informal.

Meaning it will not affect your ability to rush if you are unable to attend. However, we highly encourage anyone considering rushing to take part in the recruitment process to get the full experience and bond with your new class members and fellow sisters.

You will be assigned a recruitment advisor that will be there to update you and answer any questions that you may have about the process. Our recruitment will include fun events for you to get to know more about our sisterhood, service in our chapter, and bond with each other during the recruitment process. The recruitment process is a way for us to get to know you and answer any questions you may have before the rush week begins. Go ahead and fill out the form above if you're interested in rushing!

The rush week for this spring will be released soon! Details about the dress code for rush week will be given out closer to the date for anyone that expresses interest in rushing. Rush week will consist of a different event every day of the week. Events for the week will include informational sessions, small group bonding sessions, fun events, one on one interviews, and we will end the week with our decision day! We are a non-selective sorority, which means that everyone is welcome to join!

Make sure to follow us on Instagram @utdgss for updates.

Gamma Sigma Sigma will be holding rush week Spring 2023 semester in person.

The Member-in-Training (MIT) Period is 2-month period for all new members.

During this period, you are taught important information regarding being a member in the chapter and actively serving in the sorority. This process will include a weekly meeting with the Membership Vice President, bonding activities with your rush class, an MIT service project, Big Little, and lastly - initiation. This is a fun process where you get to bond with not only your line sisters but also with other members of the sorority!
